Shipping & Product Delivery

  • Goldfire Gallery is solely an intermediary between the customer and the Artist. After purchase of the artwork, shipping of the item to you is arranged by the artist.

  • At this time, we are unable to provide delivery to Post Office (PO) Boxes unless an agreement has been reached between you, the customer, Goldfire Gallery, and the artist (seller). If you are unable to make any other arrangement and need an item delivered to a PO Box, prior to purchase please contact Goldfire Gallery on to determine if an arrangement can be made for this one instance.

  • All purchases on the Goldfire Gallery website require a signature on delivery, unless requested otherwise, in writing by the customer, in which case the customer takes full responsibility for the safe delivery of the item or lack thereof.


  • It is the customer's responsibility to provide a delivery location that is accessible for the safe and easy delivery of the size and type of artwork they have purchased. Any extra delivery fees resulting from a failure to do so may be charged to the customer. Inability to deliver may result in the item being taken to a collection point. Failure to collect from a collection point may result in the artwork automatically being returned to the artist. If this occurs, re-shipping is at the expense of the customer.


  • Artists may offer a pick-up arrangement. A pick up arrangement request can be made at the time of purchase. The artist will be notified of the request and will contact the customer directly to make arrangements. This is an agreement solely between the artist and the customer. Goldfire Gallery is not responsible for this arrangement.

 

Returns & Refunds

  • Goldfire Gallery offers customers a 7-day Return and Refund service.


  • The customer has 7 days from the date of delivery to utilise the Goldfire Gallery Returns and Refunds service.


  • After 7 days has passed from notification of collection, it is considered the buyer owns the work, the artist is paid, and the refund period is expired.


  • Delivery is determined as:

    • Item is received and signed for.

    • Delivery of the artwork was attempted. If the artwork cannot be delivered and is taken to a collection point, the customer has 7 days from being given notice before the refund period is expired.


  • For returns due to change of mind, return shipping is to be paid for by the customer. A refund for the original purchase price of the item will be provided to the customer.


  • For returns due to damage or related to misrepresentation (the artwork is not as advertised on the Goldfire Gallery website), return shipping is at no cost to the customer. A refund for the original purchase price of the item will be provided to the customer.


  • If packaging on an item appears damaged, please take photographs prior to opening the package. This will become part of the supporting evidence in the case an artwork has become damaged in transit


  • It is recommended customers keep the original packaging the item was shipped in until the 7-day return period has ended. Goldfire Gallery does not refund the return packaging cost where the original packaging is not used.

 

'How To' Return an Item & Request a Refund

  • Before an item is returned, Goldfire Gallery must be notified in writing at of the intent to return. Please include the reason(s) for the return and any supporting information or details including images that support a claim to shipping damage or misrepresentation.


  • Returns must be re-packaged in the original packaging and returned to the Artist within 7 days of receiving. Return shipping is to include item tracking and we recommend the purchase of shipping insurance as a refund will only be issued to the customer on the receipt of the undamaged item by the artist unless proof has been provided of the damage occurring prior to returning.


  • Goldfire Gallery is to be notified by email of the return dispatch details and the tracking number.


  • You will receive the refund on safe and undamaged receipt of the item by the artist.
